Gift card questions.
Does the gift card expire?
No. BYMS gift cards are configured without an expiry date.
How do they use it?
The card arrives by email with a unique code. Enter that code in the gift-card or discount field at Shopify checkout; the available balance is applied to the order.
What if the piece costs less than the card?
The remaining balance stays on the same code automatically — they can use it on their next order.
Can it go toward a custom order?
Not toward the current 50% custom-order deposit, because that deposit is collected through InstaPay or bank transfer rather than Shopify checkout. Gift cards work on products purchased through the online checkout, including bundles.
