Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the byms.store website (the "Site") and your purchase of products from BYMS ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

BYMS is a Cairo-based handcrafted decor brand operated as a partnership between its two founders. Contact details are listed in our Contact Information and Legal Notice pages. Official contact: hello@byms.store and WhatsApp +20 104 141 6100.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, you may only order through, or with the consent and supervision of, a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms and is responsible for the order.

3. Products

Our products are handcrafted, primarily laser-cut MDF wall panels, frames, and accessories. Because each piece is made by hand:

Minor variations in finish, engraving depth, or wood texture are natural characteristics of handmade work and are not defects.
Colors may appear slightly different on screen than in person.
Product dimensions listed are nominal and may vary slightly.

4. Orders and acceptance

An order placed on the Site is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. If we decline an order that has been paid, we will refund it in full.
For custom orders, the order is confirmed once we agree on the design and you pay the 50% deposit via WhatsApp. The remaining balance is due on delivery unless agreed otherwise.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and are final as displayed.
Accepted payment methods: cash on delivery and InstaPay.
If a product is listed at a clearly erroneous price due to a technical or clerical error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.

6. Shipping, returns, and cancellation

Shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, and cancellations are governed by our Shipping Policy and our Return and Refund Policy, both of which form part of these Terms and are drafted in accordance with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under that law.

7. Custom orders and customer-supplied content

When you submit artwork, images, logos, names, text, or any other material for a custom order ("Customer Content"):

You confirm that you own the Customer Content or have the legal right to use it and to authorize us to reproduce it on the product you are ordering.
You are solely responsible for the Customer Content. You agree to indemnify and hold BYMS and its founders harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from our production of a product based on Customer Content you supplied, including claims of intellectual property infringement or violation of any third-party right.
We may decline any custom order at our discretion, including where we believe the requested design is unlawful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
We do not claim ownership of your Customer Content. You grant us a limited license to use it solely to produce your order and, only with your consent, to photograph the finished piece for our portfolio.

8. Intellectual property

All original designs, product photography, text, branding, and other content on the Site are the property of BYMS and are protected under Egyptian Intellectual Property Law No. 82 of 2002. You may not reproduce, copy for commercial purposes, or resell our designs without our written permission.
BYMS is an independent brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any football club, sports organization, film studio, comic publisher, or any other brand or rights holder. Themed decorative pieces are sold as independent handcrafted decor and any resemblance to third-party subject matter does not imply any association whatsoever.
We respect intellectual property rights. If you are a rights holder and believe any product or content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us at hello@byms.store with details of the claimed infringement and proof of your rights. We will review promptly and, where appropriate, remove or modify the relevant listing.

9. Warranty and liability

We do not offer a separate commercial warranty on our products. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law, including your rights regarding defective or non-conforming products.
Our products are decorative items. They are not toys and are not intended for unsupervised use by young children. Wall-mounted items must be installed securely using fixings appropriate to your wall type; we are not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper installation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Egyptian law.

10. The Site

We try to keep the Site accurate and available but do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time you place your order applies to that order.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from a purchase shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Egyptian courts, including the Economic Courts where applicable. You retain the right to file complaints with the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA).
