About this piece
Most wall art disappears when you turn the lights off. This one starts working.
Widow is cut from a single sheet of MDF, hand-finished in matte black, and mounted on standoffs so the LED strip behind it throws a halo onto your wall instead of a glare into your eyes. In daylight it reads as a clean black silhouette. At night the room changes colour around it.
The anatomy is drawn from real arachnids rather than traced from a symbol: jointed legs at four different lengths, a segmented body, an asymmetric stance that looks like it is about to move. It reads as a spider from across the room and as craftsmanship up close.

Materials & finish
Laser-cut from 5 mm MDF, then hand-finished with a clean painted surface. Small handmade variations around the edges, color, and final finish are normal.

Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Keep away from water, harsh cleaners, steam, and long direct heat or sunlight.

When will my order be ready?
Standard MDF pieces take 4–7 business days to produce; larger or more detailed pieces take longer within that range. Bosta delivery after dispatch typically takes 1–4 business days in Greater Cairo, and longer elsewhere.
How does Cash on Delivery work?
Choose Cash on Delivery at checkout and enter your delivery details. Payment is collected when the order arrives.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us within 30 days of delivery. For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, BYMS covers return shipping and arranges a replacement by default, or a repair or refund when appropriate.
